  PAVEMENT CLASSIFICATION RATING (PCR) AT 22 AIRPORTS/AERODROMES (AD)

1 — INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

In compliance with the recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on the publication of the Pavement Classification Rating (PCR) of RWYs, TWYs, and aprons with effective from 28 NOV 2024, this AIP Supplement aims at notifying the PCR values replacing the PCN values at 22 airports/airports in Viet Nam (AD).

2 — DETAILS

The new PCR values for aircraft pavement strength will supersede the existing pavement classification number (PCN) values in AIP Viet Nam.

Note:

  1. These values are referenced to items AD 2.8: Aprons, TWYs and check locations/position data, AD 2.12: RWY physical characteristics and 3 related charts.

  2. Currently, Dong Hoi, Da Nang, Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat Airports are only show PCR values on layout of aircraft Parking/Docking chart due to construction progress.
