At Dien Bien Domestic Airport, a number of local regulations are applied. The regulations are published in a manual which is available at the AIS Briefing Office as follows:
Meaning of markings and signs;
Information about aircraft stands;
Information about taxiing to and from aircraft stands including taxi clearance;
Marshaller assistance and towing assistance.
Arriving aircraft will be assigned a stand number by Dien Bien TWR .

Note:

For arriving aircraft:
Aircraft continue on the assigned STAR procedure, comply with vertical and speed restrictions and at the end of the STAR, join the holding pattern at IAF. Aircraft leave holding pattern at EAT, pilots affirm and acknowledge with Dien Bien TWR the last time, or unless having EAT, apply the ETA in the current FPL and make the approach procedures assigned by Dien Bien TWR .
For departing aircraft:
Aircraft continue the assigned SID procedure, comply with vertical and speed restrictions, climb to cruising level as specified in the current FPL.
